‘‘ উত্তর ’’
– শামসুর রাহমান

তুমি হে সুন্দরীতমা নীলিমার
দিকে তাকিয়ে বলতেই পারো
‘এই আকাশ আমার’
কিন্তু নীল আকাশ কোনো উত্তর দেবেনা। ♥

সন্ধ্যেবেলা ক্যামেলিয়া হাতে নিয়ে বলতেই পারো,
‘ফুল তুই আমার’
তবু ফুল থাকবে নীরব নিজের
সৌরভে আচ্ছন্ন হয়ে। ♥

জ্যোস্না লুটিয়ে পড়লে তোমার ঘরে,
তোমার বলার অধিকার আছে,
‘এ জ্যোস্না আমার’
কিন্তু চাঁদিনী থাকবে নিরুত্তর। ♥

মানুষ আমি, আমার চোখে চোখ রেখে
যদি বলো, ‘তুমি একান্ত আমার’,
কী করে থাকবো নির্বাক ?
তারায় তারায় রটিয়ে দেবো,
‘আমি তোমার, তুমি আমার’। ♥
