* মুসলিম মনিষীদের নামের তালিকা :

মুসলমানদের আলসেমি, বিলাসিতা আর জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানের প্রতি অবহেলার কারনে আজ বিশ্ববিখ্যাত বৈজ্ঞানিক ও মনিষীদের নাম বিকৃতরুপে আমাদের হাতে এসে পৌঁছেছে। যেসব মুসলিম বিজ্ঞানী বিজ্ঞানের অনেক মৌলিক সূত্র আবিস্কার করেছিলেন, যাঁদের আবিস্কারের ফলে বর্তমান বিজ্ঞান হয়েছে পরিপূর্ণ তাঁদের আমরা ভুলতে বসেছি। পাঠ্যবইয়ের কল্যাণে খুব কম মুসলিম বিজ্ঞানীর নাম জানি আমরা। অনেকেই শুনেছি, আবার অনেকেই শুনিনি, জানি না তাঁদের অবদানের ব্যাপারে। কি করেছিলেন এই মুসলিম বিজ্ঞানীগণ, চলুন ইতিহাসের পাতা হতে একটু দেখে নেয়া যাক।
